Required Internship – Finance & Modelling, Renewable Energy

• Support the Vice President, IPP & Finance, with finance and modelling activities for renewable-energy projects
• Support the financial evaluation of PV, BESS, and wind projects using Excel-based financial models
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Optimize technical and financial design decisions, such as storage capacity, layout, and marketing strategy
• Model asset revenues using platforms such as Re-Twin and enervis
• Support project managers with modelling tasks and financial feasibility analyses
• Contribute to AI-assisted workflows, for example using Claude, for project analyses and comparisons
• Document and further develop models, templates, and processes
• Become familiar with existing financial models and take ownership of calculations for solar parks
• Support financial feasibility analyses and assist management with financing-related matters

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or an advanced Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, industrial engineering, energy economics, or a comparable field
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with formulas and large datasets
• Knowledge of macros and VBA is an advantage
• Experience in financial modelling, renewable energy, or project finance is a plus but not required
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude is an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and meticulous working style, with a critical approach to reviewing figures
• Very good German and English language skills
