Senior FullStack Engineer, Consumer Lending

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices within the Consumer Lending team
• Design and manage infrastructure capable of handling millions of daily requests while maintaining security and performance
• Use Google Cloud services and industry-standard tools to build and maintain distributed systems
• Collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other business units to deliver financial solutions
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
• Use user feedback and system analytics to refine and iterate on platform capabilities

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent or advanced English
• Proven track record of building, shipping, and iterating on software applications, particularly in the Fintech domain
• Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures
• Experience designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts
• Experience in building and maintaining payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly desirable
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes
• Passion for developing products that make a real impact on millions
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies
• Excellent collaboration and prioritization skills in a team-oriented environment
• Curiosity and/or experience in Fintech is a plus; equivalent competencies will also be considered
• Familiarity or willingness to learn React, HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Python, Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, Redis, SQL, gRPC, Google Cloud services, Kubernetes, Terraform, NewRelic, and PagerDuty
