Pre-Production Artist

• Design mockups, vectorize logos, and produce presentation decks from initial concept through final delivery
• Mock up customer art proofs according to work-order instructions
• Recreate low-quality bitmap artwork into clean vector art
• Adjust artwork for accurate printing according to customer orders and templates
• Work mainly on rushed orders after initial training, field art questions, and help delegate rushed orders
• Occasionally take customer calls, except during non-US hours
• Learn the company's product line, imprint-area capabilities, and printing-method limitations
• Maintain professional relationships with team members, departments, and customers
• Communicate with supervisors and team members
• Answer questions for other production artists
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Art Manager and Supervisor
• Continually learn, evaluate, and implement new art and design strategies
• Work with and direct outsourced art teams
• Help with projects collaboratively or individually

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity across different mediums
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• In-depth experience and an established track record in artwork design and finalization, with great attention to detail
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or other relevant experience
• Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign
• Solid understanding of file formats, image optimization techniques, and color management
• Experience adjusting artwork to print for various mediums
• Knowledge of the embroidery process and familiarity with .dst files is a plus
