Senior Data Engineer, AWS

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and solutions on AWS
• Build system integrations and REST APIs
• Process, transform, model, and make data available
• Optimize solution performance, scalability, and costs
• Ensure the quality, security, and observability of environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in architecture decisions and promote best practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions
• Work autonomously and provide consultative support to the team and client
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical support to the team
• Build and enhance data solutions for a technology and data project in the insurance sector

• Strong experience with AWS, especially S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL
• Experience with REST APIs, system integration, data processing, and data modeling
• Knowledge of serverless architecture, security, observability, performance, and scalability
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate requirements into solutions
• Knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is a plus
• Knowledge of developing and coding Artificial Intelligence agents is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions
