Senior Backend Developer, Java

• Successfully completed a degree in Computer Science or vocational training as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development
• Excellent knowledge of backend development with Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Java performance and scalability
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to use them productively
• Experience developing scalable and secure backend features
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Enthusiasm for agile software development
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development, code reviews, and Continuous Delivery
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Fluent German is required
• Experience with Elasticsearch or Solr, as well as large datasets and NoSQL databases, is desirable
• Experience in Identity and Access Management is desirable, e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, SCIM, Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID
