Business Development Manager

• Planning, designing, and providing technical support (1st-level support) for proprietary and third-party products in the field of Access Network Engineering
• Handling RFQs, RFPs, and technical tenders for IP and telecommunications networks
• Identifying new markets, growth opportunities, and target customers in the DACH region, ideally across Europe
• Supporting new customer acquisition and developing acquired customers for front-haul, backhaul, and long-haul networks
• Advising, convincing, and inspiring customers with the company’s solutions and services
• Preparing quotations and successfully conducting negotiations
• Presenting solutions at trade shows and events
• Contributing to the development and implementation of sales strategies
• University degree, for example in electrical engineering or industrial engineering, or technical vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems) combined with additional business qualifications, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in technical sales and/or technical support for telecommunications technology in fixed and mobile access, XGS-PON, and FTTB/H
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant sales markets, as well as the structures and strategies of our customers
• High level of commitment and willingness to travel
• Proven sales skills and a highly efficient, independent approach to work
• Self-reliant and goal-oriented working style
• Confident manner and excellent communication skills
• Good written and spoken English
