Freelance German Translator, EN to DE

• Localize waterdrop®’s brand voice for the German-speaking online shop
• Translate direct-to-consumer marketing materials, mainly advertisements and landing pages
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of terminology and tone across translated materials
• Localize persuasive ad and landing-page copy to drive action, sales, and growth
• Proofread and perform quality checks on translated content
• Support urgent translation needs for product launches and time-sensitive campaigns

• Freelance translator
• Native proficiency in German required
• Fluency in English required
• Detail-oriented and able to create creative, engaging translations
• Comfortable and efficient working independently
• Able to take full ownership of projects and meet deadlines
• Translation background; studied Translation Studies is a plus
• Experience in SEO copywriting is a plus
• Experience translating performance marketing or advertising copy is a plus
• Additional languages are a plus
