Senior Manual Test Engineer

• Work on the release and validation process of a major European retailer's new webshop
• Act as part of a dedicated release testing team and quality gate
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define test objectives, clarify requirements, and align on quality goals
• Design, organize, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using management tools
• Perform system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Promote manual testing best practices and the overall test strategy
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues with development teams
• Communicate risks and quality concerns to clients and team members
• Guide junior and mid-level QA engineers and share testing best practices
• Collaborate with other QA teams to improve tools, methodologies, and testing workflows
• Support UAT through training and coordination
• Facilitate client sign-off for production readiness
• Create and maintain test reports, release notes, and QA documentation throughout the test lifecycle

• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman)
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, X-Ray, Azure, TestRail, Aqua)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve test failures and enhance overall test coverage
• Ability to collaborate with team members to improve and enhance the testing process
• Experience performing manual testing of software applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
• Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
