Senior Node.js Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and distributed systems
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Enhance CI/CD processes, automation, testing, and deployment practices
• Take ownership of production systems, identify issues, and contribute to incident resolution and continuous improvement
• Partner with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integrations and delivery of business-critical functionality
• Promote engineering best practices through code reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
• Work on an online banking system for a large-scale online platform with an international team

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid experience with AWS Serverless services: Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and S3
• Solid understanding and practical application of design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and CDK
• Familiarity with TypeScript testing practices: unit, integration, and system testing
• Solid experience with event-driven architecture, e.g. Kafka
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and OpenAPI specifications
• English — Upper-Intermediate level or higher
• Nice to have: experience in a monorepo setup, such as pnpm workspaces
• Nice to have: familiarity with relational databases, MySQL, and an ORM such as Prisma
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB
