Britannia's Gold Ltd

Since its founding in 2016, Britannia’s Gold Ltd (BGL) has grown into a global effort to find and recover precious materials from sunken carriers. Using state-of-the-art technology and decades of meticulous research, BGL is able to recover gold, silver and non-irradiated steel from targeted shipwrecks across the world. The materials found are in part returned to the UK for the benefit of the Government and Merchant Marine Charities. Having researched thousands of documents over 8 decades, including the original manifests of maritime and financial institution archives, and, having interviewed the actual individuals involved in loading these valuable cargoes both in the UK and abroad, we have been able to develop a database of unique intelligence of wreck location and cargo content. Our extensive research has identified shipwrecks on the seabed with significant quantities of gold and other precious metals to be salvaged. Further, BGL's hand-picked International Search & Salvage team has the combined experience and resources to oversee and manage the delicate process of recovering the cargo to shore.
